Irresistible

Hey there. I'm back in the studio.

Here's a portion of irresistible perfume ad illustrations by Fred Packer from the 1920s. His style is very seductive, so it's a shame that I see no evidence that he ever illustrated books like his other contemporaries with comparable styles.

And there are more. I'm hoping to track them down. Aren't they transcendent? That first one with the curling smoke is my favorite.

I'd like to see these without the perfume bottles and copy, are they out there somewhere?

Also, I've been meaning to ask you Thom, the white dancing girl you're using as your new blog header, where is that from? And would you post the original?
